Isocarp 2015 Congress: let’s reinvent planning

The 2015 Isocarp congress will be hosted in 12 cities across Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands with the final plenary sessions taking place in Rotterdam on October 21-23.

Each city has developed a theme with a global relevance but rooted in the local urban planning experience. Alexandra will participate in the Rotterdam workshop on port-city synergies. Carlo, through the Young Professional Planners program, is involved in the set up and management of the Eindhoven workshop.

Participants in the Eindhoven workshop will reflect on the theme “How to react when traditional industries move away: Society 2.0” ( from the local history of closure of Philips factories and subsequent new development into the digital and creative industries), through an interactive hackaton format, working on local challenges.
